Jesus the Gardener
Come lock eyes with Jesus the Gardener. He is depicted in his heavenly state with eyes like fire and hair white as wool. His garment of purple, blue, and scarlet (the colors of the Tabernacle) shows that he is the True Vine. He carries a barley sheaf to represent that he is the Firstfruits of the harvest.
He is flanked by palm branches and surrounded by various biblical plants and fruits including apples, figs, and pomegranates; olive, myrtle, and willow branches; rose of Sharon and lily. The lower ground includes other flowers that have been said to symbolize him such as passionflower, dogwood, and carnation.
Approximately 3ft x 7ft (.91x2.13m) Acrylic and dye on silk. The dyes have been set permanently using a steam-setting process. The top includes a sewn-in compartment for inserting a rod or wire for hanging.
As seen in NYC, Paris, and Tokyo
