Eden Restored: Western Europe

$2,222.00

The Western European garden features a light-haired couple in white looking out over a fairytale scene of pink and purple. They stand underneath a European beech tree, just starting to turn, amidst the bluebells, foxglove, English daisies, pink roses, and bugle. A little brown European rabbit hides among the flowers. Swans grace the lake as they watch the sunset.

The fairytale tradition primarily originates in Western Europe, and I wanted to make the painting carry that emotion. I chose to associate the biblical gemstone of agate in its light purple form with that feeling. For many people, this region epitomizes classic elegance. It is important to remember that one of the key characteristics that has historically defined this region is the wide-scale adoption of Christian faith, which creates a free and flourishing civilization.

Approximately 3ft x 7ft (.91x2.13m) Acrylic and dye on silk. The dyes have been set permanently using a steam-setting process. The top includes a sewn-in compartment for inserting a rod or wire for hanging.

As seen in NYC, Paris, and Tokyo

Please note: This painting along with the entire Eden Restored collection is reserved for exhibition until December 31, 2025. You are encouraged to pay in installment using Klarna or Afterpay. If purchased before December 31, 2025, you will receive the painting in January 2026. Additional international shipping fees may apply.
